General Operative – Southminster – Temporary to permanent opportunity – Full time

• £12.71 per hour plus attendance bonus (£13.44 per hour with attendance bonus)

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 40 hours per week

• Overtime: Paid at £19.07 per hour for hours worked between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm Monday to Friday, paid

           after core weekly hours are completed

We are recruiting for a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join a busy warehouse and production environment in Southminster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure a long term position with a growing business.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum six months experience operating a counterbalance forklift

• Valid and in date counterbalance forklift licence

• Must have own transport due to location

• Willingness to work additional hours and remain flexible during busy periods

Duties Include:

• Operating a forklift to move products within the warehouse and facility

• Dismantling pallets

• Reworking finished products

• Packing finished goods

• Sweeping and maintaining general housekeeping of the working area
