Plant Operator – Permanent – Near Maldon, own transport essential
Pay: £12.21 per hour, overtime available

Are you experienced operating machinery and looking for a hands on, full time outdoor role? We are seeking a safety conscious individual to join a professional operation as a Plant Operator. You do not need previous experience in this type of role as full training will be given, but you must have experience operating machinery such as a forklift or other heavy equipment where health and safety was critical. Full training will be provided on the plant machinery you will operate.

What You Will Do

Operate plant machinery safely and efficiently
Perform daily safety checks and basic maintenance on equipment
Support ongoing operations and other machinery duties as required
Train new employees in safe machinery operation when needed
Follow established safety programs and contribute to a team focused work environment
Who We Are Looking For

Experience operating machinery such as a forklift or other equipment where health and safety awareness was essential
Willingness to be trained on specific plant machinery
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Positive, proactive can do attitude
Hours and Additional Information

Monday to Thursday 7 am to 7 pm, Friday 7 am to 3 pm
Winter hours may be shorter due to daylight availability
One hour unpaid break per day
22 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
Personal protective equipment must be used at all times
Random drug and alcohol testing, candidates must pass
