Goods In Operative – Chelmsford – £29,700 per annum – Permanent, Full Time

Do you take pride in getting things right first time? Are you naturally organised with a sharp eye for detail? We are looking for a reliable and detail focused Goods In Operative to join a growing and well organised warehouse team in Chelmsford.

This is a key role within the warehouse, perfect for someone who enjoys structured work and understands how important accuracy is when receiving and managing stock.

What You Will Be Doing:

Receiving deliveries into the building
Unpacking goods and checking them against delivery paperwork
Carrying out quality control checks to ensure goods meet required standards
Booking stock accurately onto the warehouse management system
Allocating stock to the correct warehouse locations
Putting stock away neatly, safely, and correctly
Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient goods in area
Who We Are Looking For:

Previous experience in a goods in or stock control role
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Confident using computer systems and warehouse management systems
Organised, methodical, and process driven
Reliable, hardworking, and a positive team player

Salary of £29,700 per annum
Permanent and secure role in a growing business
Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 5.00 pm (45 paid hours per week)
21 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
